Vibration Condition Monitoring (VCM) is a collection of non-invasive data gathering and analysis techniques that greatly reduce the likelihood of unplanned equipment failures while also reducing the need for expensive planned maintenance (PM) programs.

THERMOGRAPHIC SURVEY

A widely used tool in all facets of industry to measure anywhere a fault can be predicted by a temperature differential. CAC provides instantaneous results with little or no disruption of service, and can be conducted in parallel with a Vibration Survey.

Electrical Distribution
Non-destructive tool in the analysis and evaluation of electrical distribution equipment. In the marine environment the presence of engine and hull related vibration has an effect on electrical components and connections.

DECISION POINT®?
CAC DECISION POINT® (CACDP) is a web app designed by CAC which provides clients with 24/7 access to their CM reports and data.

What insights can I
gain from CACDP?
The web app allows you to:
  • Plan maintenance tasks by accessing current and past Vibration Analysis and Thermographic Inspection reports along with other customized reports.
  • View raw data, current and historical, and status trends for any monitored piece of machinery.
  • Report repair actions directly into CACDP or through integration with your maintenance management software.

How does CACDP help with
fleet management?
CACDP has an API designed to integrate with your existing maintenance management software. CACDP stores and sorts expert analysis, recommendations, and data for all ships in your fleet, allowing you to isolate a single machine or examine the entire fleet with ease. Fleet managers have access to a special screen which allows them to easily run reports, view the number of UNSAT machines, and view the next projected survey date for all vessels in the fleet.
